Close encounter in the home land of Erich von Däniken

The "Chariots of the Gods" of Erich von Däniken, are becoming real! The mysteries of planet Earth, the world we came from. Lines, called "pistas," up to 23 kilometers long in the desert of Nazca, Peru, columns of huge Menhirs at Carnac, France ... "Images for the gods" and stones of the Giants are telling stories of a fantastic, unknown past.

The future has already caught this past. For decades we have noticed that conservative theories of science are becoming weak and instable. Could it be that extraterrestrial visitors, revered as gods, left traces behind?

Erich von Däniken, bestseller author and fighter for a serious "Paleo-SETI*-Research" is collecting these mysteries of the world in one place. In a three-dimensional way, touchable, experienceable for everyone! To reach this target it is planned to build up a great experience and education park until the year 2002 on an area about 60,000 square metres in area at Interlaken, in the famous region of the Berner Oberland. In "Mysteries of the World" the visitors will come in close contact with mysterious graves of the Pharaoh's, with realistic catacombs of the Maya priests in which they have to go downstairs. Visitors can bring reconstructed chariots of the gods to flight, the so called Vimanas, and with high tech and virtual reality it will be possible to hover over the Nazca pampa and visitors even will be able to beam laser messages to the stars.

The Erich von Däniken experience world will present sensations, like the complete documentation of the discovery of the German engineer Rudolf Gantenbrink of a 68 metre long channel with a sealed small door within the Cheops-Pyramid. It will be a park which will generate a popular-science discussion, which will open "cross links in mind" and will transfer the message to the public and into the class rooms. "We are not alone in the cosmos" - a statement which fascinates. "Mysteries of the World" will not be an anti-scientific stage, will exclude unsure UFO topics and will be free of any esoteric speculations.

Amongst others, the two "special effects experts" Stefan Züricher, movie producer from Wengen, experienced from many James Bond movies, and Dominic Lavery, cencept-illustrator from London, care for the spectacular realization of the ideas of Erich von Däniken.

Work on the buildings will start in 1999. Everyone who is interested in the project is welcomed to support it with donations or other contributions. The whole project is carried by the state controlled foundation
