The First Letters of Intent Have Been Signed

The Feldschlösschen group, the electronics group Sony, and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), enter commercial partnerships with Mysteries of the World.

Support from sponsors has now been received for Erich von Däniken's planned Mysteries of the World Theme Park. Feldschlösschen, the Swiss brewing group, is the first partner to sign a cooperation agreement. Sony Electronics and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) have also put forth in writing their intent to support the project. A number of other specific offers have been received which are currently being studied by the board of directors of Mysteries of the World. The aim is to raise some 20 Million Swiss Francs from commercial partnerships, which corresponds to 25 percent of the total budget of 80 Million Swiss Francs (approx. USD 50 million).

During the coming weeks, the detailed project plans and final contracts will be drawn up for approval in the spring of 2000.

Negotiations with other potential financial partners are currently under way. By early summer of this year, the Mysteries of the World Planning AG intends to have made all the final decisions in the field of commercial partnerships.
