Raise in the Share Capital Yields 16 Million Swiss Francs
Next Raise of Share Capital Planned for the Fall of 2000

July 8th, 2000

The raise in share capital for the planned Mysteries of the World Theme Park in Interlaken Switzerland, whose new shares had to be signed by June 30, yielded 16 million Swiss Francs. Over 1'000 new investors were brought aboard for the financing of the adventure and theme park Mysteries of the World, which will be built according the the ideas of Erich von Däniken.

Even though the distribution of new shares took place in the generally rather unfavorable stock trading months of May/June 2000, the expectations of the executive financial committe were more than fulfilled. The initially anticipated minimum raise in share capital of 5.5 million Swiss Francs (including the premium of 11'550'000 Swiss Francs) was significantly surpassed.

The board is convinced that the financing of the theme park can be secured. According to the theme park's President, Oskar Schärz, another raise in the share capital is planned for the fall of 2000. "We have also received interesting offers from corporate investors which are currently being reviewed," Schärz explains further. The theme park is looking exclusively for minority shareholders because the main goal is to have a very broad dispersion of capital. The executive board wants to avoid that foreign corporate investors will gain too strong an influence pertaining to the contents of the theme park.

Since November 1, 1999, the Mysteries of the World shares are being traded at the Bern Telephone Stock Exchange in Switzerland and at the Berlin Stock Exchange in Germany. The stock's nominal value, initially offered at 10.- Swiss Franks each, has in the meantime risen to 21.- and 22.- Swiss Franks each where it remains quite stable.

The planning for Mysteries of the World is right on target. The Grand Opening is scheduled for April 2002.
