Mystery Park News
New share analysis published

The company responsible for placing new shares, WP Handel Ltd., a member of the Bernese HelveticStar Ltd. Financial Group, recently commissioned a share analysis from an independent analyst. The study reconfirms that those responsible for the Mystery Park project have been very conservative in their profit estimates. The analysis anticipates that the park can expect not 500'000 but 750'000 visitors in the first full year of business. Revenue from the gastronomy sector, from vehicle parking, shopping space rental and sale of merchandising articles is expected to be far higher than originally projected. The analysis therefore corrected the profit forecast, increasing it by a considerable amount. A copy of the analysis is available from WP Handel Ltd., Genfergasse 10, 3001 Bern, Gratis-Hotline (in and outside Switzerland) 00 800 1999 2002.

The Mystery Park Ltd. does not wish to comment on these forecasts, but is very pleased with the positive evaluation. In addition, Board Chairman Oskar Schärz confirms that since the first planning stage three years ago, the basic framework of conditions in the Interlaken region has undergone a positive change. However to date, these changes have not been taken into account in Mystery Park Ltd. revenue projections.

Mystery Park Update
Increase of share capital until end of April

The increase of share capital begun on 2 March 2001 still has until 30 April 2001 to run. New shareholders are being offered a total of 500'000 to 3'300'000 new bearer shares, par value CHF10.- at an issue price of CHF 22.- per share.

Present share capital amounts to CHF 13.2 million, and has brought in a total of CHF 22 million. This, together with pledges from sponsors, means that over CHF 30 million is now available for the building of the Mystery Park. Total construction costs are estimated at about CHF 86 million.

Construction of the park began in earnest on 2 March 2001, the day after Erich von Däniken made the first cut in the soil. Both construction and further development work are on schedule and within the budget.

The Mystery Park will open in 2002. The unsolved mysteries of the world will be presented in seven theme buildings, based on the ideas of bestselling author Erich von Däniken. Using ultra-modern multimedia techniques, visitors will be able to discover and explore the fascinating legacies of our ancestors, all still shrouded in secrecy, and also experience the exciting world of space research at close hand. The Mystery Park, built on Interlaken's former airfield using the latest ecological expertise, will be open all year round.
