An independent research institute "The Great Mysteries of the World," founded by the AAS RA (Archaeology, Astronautics and SETI Research Association) and their scientific directors, Ulrich Dopatka and Giorgio Tsoukalos, will ensure that the theme park is constantly renewed and kept fresh. The institute will introduce new mysteries into the park and will constantly check the topicality of existing themes with the help of experts. Contacts with other research institutions will be made and developed to help establish "Mysteries of the World" as a centre of popular science which is worth supporting.
Archiving and information for the media about relevant, exciting scientific news is another task of the institute. On the educational level, the institute can initiate research exercises based on the themes at the park. It should also provide a forum for greater interdisciplinary research. The institute can also sponsor projects such as promising excavations thus turning the institute into a kind of patron. And finally, it will organize meetings and conferences. The institute will support itself financially through the evaluation of research results, through publication rights, TV programs and donations. The headquarters are at the theme park.
