Ground Plan

The Basic Idea

Interlaken, the gateway to the Bernese Oberland, with its natural beauty and wide range of cultural and touristic attractions, is to about add yet another attraction--a theme park devoted to the mystery shrouded legacies of our forefathers.

The project known as "Mysteries of the World" is based on an idea by Erich von Däniken, the best-selling Swiss author who has written extensively about his research about the extra-terrestrial origins of man. The theme park will focus on the scientific aspects of the great mysteries of the world but will also have attractions which are bound to appeal to the visitor from any age.
