Indian Temple

Several holy scriptures from a variety of cultures speak of flying machines which were once used by individuals of high standing (kings, prophets, teachers etc.) The most extensive descriptions of such are found in the literature of ancient India. The flying machines were called "Vimanas." But references to amazing experiences with machines from the sky also appear in the Old Testament. Writings of the Prophet Ezekiel, as well as in the Ethiopian "Kebra Negest" (Book of Kings) contain such references. All Indian temples, even today, have such a "Vimana" at their tops.

"Mysteries of the World" will take the visitor into an Indian temple which will feature an atmosphere of fragrance and soft background music. The walls will be covered with projections of "Vimanas." In the starlit sky, a magical space city will float exactly the way it is described in the "Mahbharata," an ancient Indian epic war poem. In various corners, old Indian texts will be inscribed on the walls. Over headphones, the visitor will hear amazing stories from the Orient from a time long past.

A curving staircase will lead into an underground hall full of whispers and sounds. A figure from the Old Testament will be on his knees in front of a "Vimana." The shape of the Vimana is based on that described in the Ezekiel text and will be reconstructed by Josef Blumrich, the former head of the construction section at NASA. The visitor will be separated from the exhibit by a railing. The Blumrich Vimana will take off with a mighty roar and fly directly inside a construction. This stadium-like construction, open at the top, is also precisely described by Ezekiel. It will be reconstructed by the German engineer H.H. Beier. A number of cameras will project live pictures of the flight onto the walls. The visitor, who is standing on a ramp, will witness the three-dimensional landing of the Vimana in the construction from various angles.

The way out will lead through a corridor of subdued light. Through headphones or out of the walls, the visitor will hear the crucial questions: Where did the Vimanas in ancient India come from? Who appeared to the Prophet Ezekiel? Were they from another planet? Who created them? How did they get to Earth? What is the name of the supreme spirit behind the Creation?
